The Rain Shed is now The Green Pepper!

The Green Pepper is thrilled to announce that we have acquired The Rain Shed, one of the most trusted names in outdoor gear-making supplies. Both of these companies share a proud history -- each has been serving passionate makers and outdoor enthusiasts for over 50 years -- and we couldn't be more honored to carry The Rain Shed's legacy forward.

For decades, The Rain Shed has been a go-to source for quality fabrics, notions, and hardware for DIY outdoor gear. The time has come for Tiffany, the former owner of The Rain Shed to step into a well-earned retirement. We are deeply grateful for the dedication that sustained such a beloved company. Tiffany says, "I have always thought that these two companies are a great combination and will really compliment each other. As I move into retirement I would like to thank everyone for all your support over the years and am happy to announce the new owner to you."

What does this mean for you? The Green Pepper is committed to continuing the tradition of quality that both companies have always stood for.  We plan to carry the majority of The Rain Shed's product lineup - including fabrics, notions, zippers, and hardware - and will be integrating The Rain Shed's patterns into our catalog. Additionally, The Rain Shed patterns will be made available as PDF downloads over the next few months, making it easier than ever to access the designs you love. 

We are excited about what this next chapter holds and look forward to serving customers of both companies for many years to come. Thank you for your loyalty, your passion for making and your trust in us.

We are currently in the transition period, which we expect to be complete within the next few weeks. We are moving a set of inventory from Washington state to Asheville, North Carolina, the home of The Green Pepper. 

During this time, The Rain Shed website will start to redirect to The Green Pepper's website (thegreenpepper.com), where you will find all of the products and patterns you know and love, along with everything The Green Pepper has to offer.
