Multi-sized Pattern for Kids: Sizes 4-12 Size Chart
Skill Level: 3, Medium difficulty
Just like our Adult Santiam Vests, this sewing pattern creates a warm and cozy reversible vest with zip pockets, hand-warming pockets, and with options to close with a zipper or snaps. This pattern uses 1 yard, or less, of each fabric!
Suggested Fabrics:
Outer Shell: Any Water-repellent Fabrics, Ultrex, or Gore-Tex.
Lining: Polar Fleece, Diamond Quilt, Channel Quilt (allow 1/4 yard (.23m) extra for matching quilt lines), Nylon Taffeta, and Water-repellent Fabric.
Insulation: Thinsulate (when using Nylon Taffeta or Water-repellant Fabrics for Lining).
Notions:
Polyester Thread, two 7"-Pocket Zippers, View A: 14" (size 4); 16" (sizes 6-8); 18" (sizes 10-12) Reversible Zipper or use zipper by the yard and reversible pulls; View B: seven Heavy Duty Snaps (size 4-6) or eight Heavy Duty Snaps (size 8-12).
