540 – Spirit Cap Pattern

Multi-Sized Pattern for Adults & Kids:  XS - XL         Size Chart
Note: Adult XS and SM are Children's MD and LG

Skill Level:  2, Easy

Use this pattern to make a perfect cap for team spirit, school spirit, or the spirit of outdoor adventure.  This easy-to-sew cap, with two options, lets you make one in your own colors. The Stripe Cap and the Sweep Cap can both be made with or without piping.  This cap is so easy, you'll want to make them for the whole team!

Fabric Suggestions: 
Main Fleece and Contrast Fleece:  Fleece fabric such as PolarTec 200, 300, or Windblock.  
Piping: Microfleece or any lightweight fleece or any other fabric with crosswise stretch.
Fabric MUST have crosswise stretch for proper sizing.  Designed for PolarTec Fleece.

Fabric Requirements (yardage is enough for 2 caps), 60" (150cm) wide, All Sizes:
Stripe Cap:
Main fleece fabric:  1/4 yd (.23m)
Piping (optional): 1/8 yd (.12m)
Sweep Cap:
Main fleece fabric: 1/4 yd (.23m)
Contrast fleece: 1/4 yd (.23m)
Piping (optional): 1/8 yd (.12m)
