109 – Adult's Polar Vest Pattern

Stay warm and cozy when working outside!  Our popular pattern to make this polar fleece vest has several key features:  two handwarmer pockets, a zippered pocket under chest flap (won't lose your keys), and a front zippered closure.  This pattern uses little fabric (2 yards or less!). This pattern is designed for polar fleece, which must have crosswise stretch for proper sizing.

Suggested Fabrics:
Fleece: Any medium- to heavy-weight polar fleece.  
Woven Trim:  1/4-1/3 yd (.23-.31m) Any lightweight to tightly-woven nylon fabric.
Stretch Facing: 1/4 yard (.23m) Nylon/Lycra 4-way stretch.
