126 - Men's Coast Range Anorak Pattern

This sewing pattern is for a traditional Anorak pullover coat with some amazing features. Sized for men (36-48), but of course can be worn by anyone, the unlined Anorak has a zippered neck opening and a drawstring hood. There are cozy handwarmer pockets and a front zippered pouch pocket under a secured flap. Elastic cuffs and the lower hem can be cinched against the cold with a drawstring cord and toggle. Our instructions show you how to add optional side vents. Make this anorak in two lengths - hip-length or a long version.
Suggested Fabrics:
Tightly woven Lightweight Waterproof, Waterproof Breathable, or Water-Repellent Fabric.
Notions:
Polyester thread, one 9" non-separating zippers, three 1/4" (6mm) grommets, 3 yd 1/8" cord or shock cord, one cord toggle lock, 1/3 yd (.3m) of 3/4" velcro, 5/8 yd (.57m) 3/8" (1cm) elastic. Optional Side Seam Vents: two 7" pocket zippers.
