503 – Polar Cap & Ear Warmer Pattern

Multi-Sized Pattern for Adults & Children: Sizes XS - L     Size Chart

Skill Level:  2, Easy

Sew up a quick and easy hat with lined ear flaps or a reversible ear warmer.  Use a stretch fleece to quickly make up this cap to keep you warm all winter!  Make several with just a little bit of yardage!  

Suggested Fabrics:
Outer Fabric:  PolarTec® 200S (4-way stretch PolarTec® with Lycra), or any fleece with stretch
Lining Fabric: PolarTec® 200S or brushed Polypropylene/Lycra; or fleece or microfleece with stretch
Note: Fabric must have crosswise stretch.  Pattern is designed for 4-way stretch PolarTec® with Lycra.  Fabric must have at least 40% stretch.

Fabric Requirements (45" or 60" wide fabric):
Outer Fabric - Child's Cap: 1/4 yd (.23m); Adult's Cap: 1/3 yd (.3m); Ear Warmer: 1/8 yd (.12m)
Lining Fabric - Child's Cap: 1/4 yd (.23m); Adult's Cap: 1/3 yd (.3m); Ear Warmer: 1/8 yd (.12m)
