With this pattern you can sew up mittens or gloves for just about everyone! These cozy gloves and mittens are great for gifts and perfect for keeping hands warm when out and about. Both views have storm cuffs for keeping out the chill.
Suggested Fabrics:
Main Fabric: Polar fleece 200, 300, or Windblock
Note: Designed for Polar Fleece: Fabric must have crosswise stretch for proper sizing (about 30% stretch).
Storm Cuffs: Nylon/Lycra 4-way stretch.
Notions: Polyester thread.

A great mitten pattern. I was skeptical that I could sew a 1/8" seam allowance but it was no big deal, They came together nicely. Enough room around the fingers to wear a liner or another pair of gloves. The pdf worked well
I made both the mittens and the gloves out of a thin polar style fleece. The pattern was easy to follow for both styles and they fit me and my husband well. I did medium mittens and large gloves. I did have to make the storm cuff longer so my husband could get his hand into the glove easily. It fit fine the original way but he didn't want to struggle to get his hand into the glove and preferred a looser fit. Other than that, they were perfect and a great fit for us both. I had been looking for awhile for a glove pattern for him because he likes a certain style and type of fabric and we can't find them in stores anymore. The mitten pattern was just a bonus. I'm pleased with my purchase.
I was so happy to find a pattern for gloves. This pattern is really fun. As you would expect, the glove pattern has tight curves and tricky spots but it's doable with polar fleece that has fairly low pile. I have tried it with stretchy knit fabric too. You'll want to make some samples to see what size works with your fabric. Also, people with wide hands or short or long fingers will be happy to find that they can make gloves that fit them. This is a good one for a PDF pattern because it really doesn't have too many pieces. Thanks Green Pepper.
