This sewing pattern for simple soft luggage bags in two sizes is an easy project, suitable for beginners (and all skill levels). The bag features sturdy, wrap-around webbing handles and a main zipper surrounding three sides of the body.  So the bag opens wide and is easy to pack and unpack.  The pattern features small exterior pockets, padded grip for handle straps, and a zipper with two pulls and a protective flap.  Simple and easy to make!  For this pattern, only measurements and a cutting guide (rather than actual pattern pieces) are included because all of the pieces are rectangular and easy to cut out.

Small Size Dimensions: 17-1/2" x 11-1/2" x 8-1/2"
Large Size Dimensions: 22" x 16" x 10"

Suggested Fabrics:
Extremely rugged use: 1000D Cordura 
Normal rugged use: 500D or Packcloth 

Fabric Requirements: 
Small Case, 60" (150cm) wide fabric:  7/8 yards (.8m)  
Large Case, 60" (150cm) wide fabric: 1-1/4 yards (1.1m)

Notions:
Small Case: 1-1/4 yard #8 coil zipper tape, two non-locking #8 zipper pulls, 2-5/8 yards 1.5" webbing, 1/4 yd of 3/4" hook and loop fastener, 5x2.5" closed cell foam (3/8"), thread.
Large Case: 1-5/8 yard #10 coil zipper tape, two non-locking #10 zipper pulls, 3-1/3 yards 2" webbing, 1/4 yd of 3/4" hook and loop fastener, 5x2.5" closed cell foam (3/8"), thread.
